It is officially December!
The weather is brisk and wintry!
But I have good news! It is warm each week at East Lake. The Love of Jesus is so evident.
First, I wanted to say thank you to all that attended the business meeting a week ago. Tammy and I are so grateful to be part of what God has planned for our church family.
During December, I will be preaching using certain Christmas Carols as the foundation for the message. Christmas time is important to me becuase it was when I first trusted Christ as my Lord and Savior. Those memories are still so fresh and remain so each year.
A couple of important dates:
Dec 14 - 5PM Christmas Caroling/Hayride. Meet in the church parking lot.
Dec 24/31 - No Wednesday night meal/Bible Discussion.
Dec 24 - 5PM - Christmas Eve Service. As I mentioned yesterday, we will take up a Birthday Offering for Jesus during that Service. His birthday - His gift. Offering will go towards Operation Christmas Child in 2026.
Jan 11 - Lord's Supper/ Family Meal (potluck) immediately following the service.
